Hello there, I have a record from the clan Boyd web site as follows. Marriages from the registers of Tynemouth 1813-1821. On 30th April 1819 Joseph boyd married hannah Archer. Can anyone tell me if there is any possibility that the ages or the names of the bride and grooms parents would appear on the record. I do not want to travel all the way to Northumberland if its going to be a wasted Jurney. G'Day Rod My ancestors came from Hull in Yorkshire, England, in the late 1800s. A couple of generations earlier they were in the Borders area of Scotland around the town of Gordon. Did you have any Boyds in your records from those areas? Tom My Boyds migrated from Berwickshire to Hull in England before 1837. However JohnJames, Robert, William Thomas occur regularly in subsequent generations. If you can find your Robert Boyd and Mary Ludlam antecedents details then we may have a linkage.
