If L@rootsweb is the same as it used to be (about 7 yrs ago), it's in plain text mode, and attachments can't be sent with a msg. It won't open. It has to be in rich text mode which rootsweb doesn't accept. Maybe they've changed. I'm not sure. I can try sending an attachment to this list & see what happens?? Karen it appears that you receiving the clanboyd digest mode. The plain text emails to the mailing list are combined into a group and then come in as a single attachment. This is an attachment that should not be a problem as they are all plain text. However if you feel uncomfortable about this format, unsubscribe from the clanboyd digest list and only subscribe to the regular list, there are never any attachments with this one and it is plain text.
