    3. My Boyd's came from Kentucky, but I don't know where. My great grandfather was James who was born in Kentucky, his father was Jackson. James had brothers and sisters I think. One story is that James mother came to Illinois after the civil war. It seems that Jackson died in Kentucky or didn't come.     3. I am looking for information on William Y. Boyd, b. 1801 in PA. Married Barbara Shetler (?) and had 5 children - Tabitha, William, John Irwin, Margaret E., and Samuel. They lived in PA until about 1860 when they moved to IL. Any information on this family would be appreciated. Mariann
