Evelyn, I just got word from a distant cousin Ron who is from the line of Jane "Boyd" McDonald, sister of my g-grandfather. He said that John Boyd's parents Robert Boyd and Jane Campbell lived around Castleblaney, Monaghan, Ireland. This information came from Civil War documentation in Lisbon Town Clerks' office. I spend my lunch hours at work searching every census yr of St. Lawrence County for Boyds, McDonalds and any other name that falls into the Boyd's family tree and any other names that appear interesting for one reason or another. I haven't had much time this year to do much research, however, hoping the year 2005 will be better for my researching. I need to go back through all my old documentation I have saved down through the years and see if I find any links that wouldn't fit previously. I will be so glad when I find our connection as I have always felt that it was there and still do. Just have to dig a little deeper. Right now, I better head for bed or I will not be able to get up for Church in the morning. In our Sunday School class we are in the study of Angels written by Billy Graham. It is so amazing to know that we have Angels watching over us. I pray that your angel watches over you tonight and brings you safely through the morning light. Hope your Christmas was the best and your New Year bring you an abundance of blessings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Connie
