I have been unable to find any information to get back further generations in Ireland or Scotland with my BOYDS. Robert BOYD born 17 March 1810 Kilnacart Derrygortrevy Co Tyrone N Ireland married Sarah Miller 25 Sept 1846 Derrygortrevy They & their first child emigrated to PA in 1849 & then settled in Trumbull Co Ohio. I have good info on the descendants & have also discovered Robert's brother John BOYD also living in Trumbull Co. I think their parents names were Robert BOYD & Mary MILLAR I do not know if there were other siblings. I've had contact with many BOYD researchers & have found new cousins through the children of Robert & Sarah MILLER BOYD but have been unable to learn more about the family in Ireland &/or if they came originally from Scotland Any suggestions?
