Colin- I forgot to say that the reason I put that in about the militia is that I do not know if John Boyd was a Captain or not........but he might have been ranked in the militia. Also it says in the book that he probably did not come with his father - but probably just a little later after marrying. Maria

Colin and Maria, Is there any other children listed with Robert or does it say anything about Robert's siblings? I am looking in the same area of the US for my Alexander's parents and so far I'm stuck. Alexander does have a son named Robert.
