Karen, I requested a DAR search and their records have him marrying Catherine Leeper?? I didn't get the pension or where he fought. I think Leeper may have been his first wife in PA. Do you have the Revolutionary War Pension Record? I can get some of the pension records on-line through our local library. There are 3 John Boyd's that were from PA.
