Some of his prints are listed on Ebay from time to time. Check out the one I have at the link above. Richard G. Boyd

I'm stuck with my Boyd's in Lecropt, Perthshire Scotland in 1844, their marriage. James Boyd married Janet McEwan on 21st April, 1844 in the parish of Monivaird, is there anyone else who is also looking for this line. Their son Alexander is my ggrandfather who moved to Oban and married Elizabeth Reid McDougall. Both were born in Perthshire. Re David's previous post: My Boyd's also lived Dungannon but at a later date-they didn't emigrate until 1849, though another brother had already emigrated circa 1833. I wondered if you knew of any of your Boyd family that stayed behind. Dungannon is a small area & it's possible that our BOYD's were related if I could get mine back far enough. Yes to both! I live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state and there are so many birds here that it is difficult not to be a bird watcher. I keep feeders in the yard (when the bears don't steal them) and binoculars in every room. It seemed like the only thing to do when I bought an expensive zoom for my camera just to get shots of the eagles.
