    3. A chairde Fenian and republican prisoners have always managed to mount spectacular escapes. Does anybody know if this tradition was demostrated by the Irish on either side during the civil war. Were there any large break outs made during the civil war and were the Irish involved in any?? I have a Irish-English Dictionary but often times I cannot find the right meaning as to what is written.
