Hello All: I just came across this in the premier issue of The Genealogy Newsletter: Canadians in the American Civil War Page http://members.tripod.com/PvtChurch/index.html I haven't checked it out yet, but have read that there were approximately 50,000 Canadian Irish who volunteered for the US Civil War.
