It might be helpful for people to know that the battle was also know as the Battle of Fair Oaks. There is a famous painting by George Trego entitled "Rescuing the Colors" which protrays the 104th Pa from Doylestown, Pa recapturing their colors from the Confederate army. Paula
Can anyone tell me where Camp Dick Robinson was located. Had some relatives who enlisteed in the civil war from this camp.
