    2. It might be helpful for people to know that the battle was also know as the Battle of Fair Oaks. There is a famous painting by George Trego entitled "Rescuing the Colors" which protrays the 104th Pa from Doylestown, Pa recapturing their colors from the Confederate army. Paula
