Slavery as the Cause of the War Between the States by Dr. Donald Livingston It has been said that the scholars of the League of the South, in their defense of secession, have not confronted the evils of slavery. We have long since confronted them-- as have all southerners. What has not been confronted (and what our nationalist historians guarantee will perhaps never be confronted) is the evil of launching a war that left 1,500,000 killed, missing, and wounded merely to consolidate a northeastern industrial empire. Lincoln was not able to win the war without finally directing it against the civilian population. This shocked Europeans, as it broke the code of civilized warfare that had been in place since the early eighteenth century. In violating the Geneva Convention the Lincoln administration became the first of the modem war criminals. To dignify this unexpected ourbreak of barbarism as being “about slavery” is the deep lie in the soul of the American liberal. Indeed it has almost become a part of American self-identity. Until it is honestly faced Americans will remain in a condition of spiritual and political adolescence. Catching up on "Chicken Little" Perdue flaggings ... Despite what the Downtown Atlanta Business District, the liberal media and now even the Republican Party of Georgia tell you, the People of Georgia still want to vote on Our State Flag. Despite the behind the scenes secret meetings and deals, the People of Georgia know that the issue will not be settled until we get to vote on Our Flag. In fact, the public displays known as flaggings are occurring at an increasing rate and we have trouble keeping up. So this article will combine several and provide links for more detailed reports. As an open message to our elected officials in the State: > Although you denied the People of Georgia the right to vote on our Flag > next year, we still get to vote in July and November. We do not support the > collusion of large corporations using Our money for an unholy influence on Our > State government. Are you going to represent the People of Georgia OR represent > The answer is also simple, this has become an issue about political correctness run amok and power. Well, so far the special interests and their cronies have been successful in preventing you from voting on your State flag and in forcing their politically correct agenda on you; but they can not stop you from voting 466 days from now. Put every day to good use. Source: Southern Party of Georgia
reference the last post on Slavery and Flags. There is always that ten percent who don´t get the message. Voting on the state flag of Georgia and posting LSI messages are not appropriate discussion topics for Civil War.
