Carolyn, You might want to look into H. E. Garrett of CO F 11th GA INF.... 9 Garretts are in the 11th GA INF. The 11th mustered-in, near Fannin and Union co. GA. If this is your Henry Eli Garrett please let me know. I'm trying to determine if the Albert Garrett in CO F is my ggg-uncle. As far as Benjamin A. Hawkins... look at CO F 43rd GA INF. Not the exact county, but they mustered at Big Shanty, which is where I know several people in Fannin co went to join the Confederate Army. CO E Daniel W. Garrett William E.
