    3. Debbie A brigade was comprised of usually 3 regiments. There would be a Brigadier General (but sometimes lesser rank commanded brigades) and his personal staff connected to the Headquarters. This would mean he was serving in some capacity om the staff of the brigade commander to which his regiment was "brigaded" (joined). Mike > We recently received an ancestor's service records.
