    2. Kate Here is the man you are looking for from Butler. Washington S. Brown Residence Lawrence County PA; Enlisted on 8/31/1861 as a Private. On 8/31/1861 he mustered into "E" Co. PA 100th Infantry (This is USA troops -mr) He died on 7/13/1863 at Jackson, MS (Found dead by side of insane asylum at close of battle. No marks.
