AJ This is a possibility. There were two other James Mattingly listed with no middle initial one in IL and one in IN. Perhaps someone can check at Ancestry in the Pension roles. Mike James A. Mattingly Residence was not listed; Enlisted on 10/2/1861 at Calhoon, KY as a Private. On 1/4/1862 he mustered into "C" Co.
