Between the CW and WWI between six or eight men have been awarded two MOH's. Custer was the first...both of these were connected to capturing CS battle flags at the end of the war. While certainly a gallant action, it pales in comparison to the acts of other double MOH recipients (mostly marines and sailors) Bill Christen
