One of my g-g-grandfathers, John Robert Pesnell, died at the Confederate States Hospital in Grenada, Mississippi on April 10, 1862. He was a Sgt. Co. E, 22 Alabama Inf. I am trying to find out where he was buried. Was it in that area or was he shipped home. I have a copy of his service record but most of it is not legible. Would there be any other record available which would indicate whether he was buried in Grenada or shipped somewhere else. Thanks, Robert H. Duke
