    3. The Question has been brought up as what is eBay's Policy as to GRAVE MARKERS. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS Under ARTIFACTS Historical Graves, Tombstones or RELATED MARKERS THESE ITEMS MAY NOT BE LISTED ON eBAY. While we recognize that some historical grave markers may be privately held WITHIN FAMILIES and legal to sell, eBAY is concerned with vandalism that has occurred in graveyards across the world. What happens when a PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED Item is listed? Here is the typical course of events surrounding a listing that should not be on the general site. A member reports an item to us. We then look up the item and determine (if it is a PROHIBITED or RESTRICTED item) If the item violates (eBAY) policies we end it, notify the seller and any bidders, then respond to the member who reported the ITEM. Almost every State had laws against GRAVE DESECRATION. THESE ARE STATE LAWS, not local, but are enforced by local police. What can you do about GRAVE DESECRATION? These laws are to protect your ancestors graves, or your parents, or your spouse, or your children. Be outraged at the vandalism, have your local police enforce the law. AND stop the sale of these types of Items EVERYWHERE. NO MARKET = NO VANDALISM. Without our ancestors, we would not be. Richard Callard
