I have read the guide lines & hope this request is in line. I have been searching for my grandfathers, ( not great grandfather ) grave site, was told it was in St. Joseph ctm. in Erie mi. Checked with ch. sexton, looked several times, no luck. His name would be " Alexander Russeau Union, Inf. 18th. Reg. Co. K " Because he could not read or write, he was listed as Alexander Reese in the mi. Vols. also does any one know where the battle of Curtis Wells was fought in Ala.?
