Several years ago, Homer Jones and I were discussing Civil War vets in the Macon, Bullock, Lee County areas of Alabama. I was making notes and wrote down St. Mary's Hospital, Union Springs, burials in Old City Cemetery. I think what he had said was that many of the wounded soldiers were in St. Mary's Hospital and those who died there were buried at Old City Cemetery, both Union and Confederates. Is anyone familiar with St. Mary's Hospital or have any ideas where we might locate any information about it? Thanks! Evelyn Leslie Remlap, AL
