    3. From the diaries I have read and as many refer to the " Raiders" the Turner production " Andersonville " portrays a very accurate showing of what happened here at Andersonville. Although the hanging scene was inaccurate as the large fellow....William Collins,,,,the large guy who commands the movie,,,his rope broke. He hit the ground out cold and when water was thrown on him to revive him,,,he got up crying " Devine intervention " as well as father Whelan tried to save him.
