Hi all, I ran across the following while looking for information on my ancestor Thomas B Mitchel (1815-1879) of Whitfield Co. GA. I do not know if this is him or not. Does anyone know anything about the "Georgia Nitre and Mining Bureau" ? The NPS lists only 4 persons in the unit: Pvt..J.H. Allen Pvt..Thomas Mitchel J. H. Walker Pvt.. W. Wells Keith Bailey
