Listmembers, I'd like to report some fantastic news. After posting a call for help on not only this Civil War Message Board, but also on Southern Heritage News and Views, and writing to Ms. Patricia Buck, President of PL/POW Association, I have received an overwhelming response for help. Private Lemuel Moore is now being included in the list of soldiers who died at Point Lookout,and will now get the honor and recognition he has so rightfully deserved for so many years. Also, his descendant has now been formally invited to join the Point Lookout Descendants Organization. I wanted to thank all of the listmembers who have helped, and it just goes to show that when we all try to pull together for a cause to correct an error such as this, things can happen in such a positive way.
