Richard, I will give you the email address of the Sons of Union Veterans, but anyone can find it on the Internet just as I did. I must say that your attitude doesn't make one want to do you any favors. It isn't my duty to do anything to protect this Marker on eBay, but I did all that I felt that I could do. I didn't see that you did anything except complain. If you are so indignant about it you could, always, purchase it yourself and have it placed back on the grave of the deceased Union Veteran. And yes, I have had lots of experience with DAR markers being removed on eBay. I have even bid on them myself to get them back to the proper grave, and many times the listing would simply "disappear" and I would get an email from eBay saying that the auction of this Item had been canceled with an URL to go see why. When clicking on the URL it would say that it was a Forbidden Item and couldn't be sold on eBay. The email of the person that I contacted is the President of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and he reassured me that they were doing what they could. 3. If you had the STUPID responses that was from a shill for the Seller and people stating the obvious. Plus people telling that they would do something and not doing it, you would have an attitude, also. I have done a lot more than "except complain." This has been going on almost a month. 1. E-Bay was contacted and all bids were blocked. 2. The police in North Bergen, NJ were contacted by phone and I live in California. 3. A number of Civil War Sites were contacted (You would never how deft at passing the buck some are. BUT, If they asked help it would be a different story.) 4. The Seller is not on e-Bay now, for how long? 5. Why should I pay a thief for property?
