    1. [CIVIL-WAR] My Ancestors that Fought ion the Civil War.
    2. I am just writing my email to this group as I am working on my family Genealogy and I have several family members who were soldiers in the Civil War. My family line that appears to have been active the most so far is the MALLET/MALLETTE/MALLET families. Their area of participation was in Connecticut. I have many more interesting pieces of information that is contained in a Family book that was written in the early to middle 1800s. I am not a real Civil War buff but I have interest in the War. It was so significant in this Country, many things changed after the War. I have also looked into text that is written in this Red Book and would be happy to share it with others if they want to or have an interest in their lives. The side of my Family is my Mothers, Mary Maxine MALETTE/CRUMP., her maiden name was BAILEY. I have also found GEDCOMS that are contained in the Family History Library of LDS in Salt Lake. I am fortunate to go their often as my Husband goes there on business. I believe we have found about 6-8 generations. I don't want to bore you all too much so I will stop by saying I hope to get input from others and hopefully offer mine.
