Y'know, I neglected to mention Wilson's Creek - another battlefield that so far is mostly unspoiled and intact. Additionally, the Wilson Creek National Military Park has taken possession of the Sweeney Museum. Located very near the park entrance, the museum is one of the finest in the state. It also has on display one of two known original Cherokee Braves flags. Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park is another near pristine battlefield. It's located in Prairie Grove, AR.
