Ruth -- If you have a lot of New England books, the New England Historic Genealogical Society might be interested. See http://www.newenglandancestors.org/giving/full_letter_611_6.asp Probably they would want to see a list of the books. I recently donated one book, a new one that I had written (on one line of the Hixson/Hixon family of New England). State libraries and historical societies might be interested in books on history and military units.
