Dear Willie Smith: I am in the mist of sorting my papers that I have put information on about each ancester, and all I can find right nowis Parham Yarboro Oates born17Feb. 17, 1817 in Cartage, Moore Co., NC He died 1870 place-unkn. I found him on the 1850, 1860, 1870, Moore Co. Nc. I haven't went through my census papers yet. I've got a mess until I get them sepersted. Any help you can find, would be greatly appreciated.     3. Beatrice, it would appear Parham's ancestor James Oates's wife, Elizabeth Perry Eivens, may be related to my wife. She is a descendant of the PERRY family of Perquimans County, North Carolina. Descendants of James OATES First Generation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. James OATES was born about 1660. He died 10 Mar 1703 in NC. [Notes] James married Elizabeth Perry EIVENS on 11 Sep 1694 in NC, Perquimans Cty. Elizabeth died.
