I have a photo of some members of Co. D, 8th Mass. Vol. Militia "Minute Men of '61," including (I hope) my ancestor Egbert Hixon. There are seven men in the photo, and a list of eight names on the back: G. A. Foxcroft E. O. Hixon J. Elder J. A. Whitney I. Trask J. H. Williams C. Atkinson W. Berry We're guessing that the eighth name is most likely the one not in the photo. Of the seven men in the photo, four are standing, and three sitting or kneeling in front.
