Hello, I was just browsing at eBay and found this item up for auction. I know that eBay is not allowed on most Lists, but there is information in the description which I would like to hear comments on. http://cgi.ebay.com/1890-Civil-War-census-Geauga-County-Ohio-genealogy_W0QQitemZ170206476067QQihZ007QQcategoryZ20927QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (I have no connection at all to this item.) I know so many of us would "love" to be able to look at the "lost" 1890 census. On some Lists I have heard that there is a way to look at some of it. Betty (near Lowell, MA) (On Lists for 7 years; now an Administrator of 7 Lists.) My Civil War ancestor was Joseph KIDDER of Princeton, Maine, who was in the 9th.
