    3. This special census is on ancestry.com, and if you google 1890 Civil War Census, you'll find there are other sites where the census can be located. Also available at National Archives. I know that eBay is not allowed on most Lists, but there is information in the description which I would like to hear comments on. http://cgi.ebay com/1890-Civil-War-census-Geauga-County-Ohio-genealogy_W0QQitemZ170206476067Q ihZ007QQcategoryZ20927QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (I have no connection at all to this item.) I know so many of us would "love" to be able to look at the "lost" 1890 census. On some Lists I have heard that there is a way to look at some of it. Betty (near Lowell, MA) (On Lists for 7 years; now an Administrator of 7 Lists.) My Civil War ancestor was Joseph KIDDER of Princeton, Maine, who was in the 9th. He fought along the Georgia / Florida line and was seriously injured there, but was able to return to Maine and then get married. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to CIVIL-WAR-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
