Were trying to find any information regarding a family associated with Ringling Brothers Circus. Amelia Greene, from Pulaski, Georgia, joined the circus in probably the early to mid 1930s as a seamstress, taking along three of her children, son, Garland, and two daughters, Dell and Jean. Dell and Jean, became trapeze artists. Garland worked with the side show. Amelia married a man named Town, date not known. He was later killed by a falling tent pole. It is not known how long the girls stayed with the circus but Amelia was still there in the early 40s. Weve tried Ringling headquarters but their records do not go back that far. If anyone recognizes this I would appreciate hearing from them.
