I am taking a "shot in the dark" here and presuming that this list will also entertain inquiries about CHOLMLEYS as well?? After searching my references and the IGI, I have concluded that I need an expert on Cholmleys in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I've got a Roger Cholmley, b.c. 1548, who had a daughter, Margaret, b.c. 1568 and who married a William CLAYTON of Oakenshaw, Yorks(d. 1627). So, if anyone has detailed knowledge of these individuals or of Chumleys/Cholmleys in the E. Riding of Yorkshire, would be glad to discuss with you at greater length. Regards to all, -- Larry D.
