I am part of that family, born in Quebec and part of the St. Jean Port Jolie arrivals three centuries ago. Although I did not attend this reunion, there are cousins who did so. There is a Coat of Arms for the family Chouinard and other interesting information you might be able to find from Montreal. I once travelled to St. Jean Port Jolie and found the memorial stone with our name on it signifying the arrival of the Chouinards. Best of luck to you.
