The one you found is in Caddo Parish, the upper NW corner of LA, so perhaps they were far enough apart that each didn't know about the other, or that it didn't cause confusion in those times. Or perhaps Line Creek was very LONG, and meandered through both counties! A plus to family history...we get a geography lesson also! Fran Bolton
