I would appreciate any help in locating marriage records or any other records for female Choctaws. My ggggrandmother who first appears in MS @1820 was full-blooded Choctaw according to family history. She was supposedly the daughter of a chief. She may have been previously married (she was supposedly a widow) before marrying my ggggrandfather Rogers. Her name was Margaret Aiken or Atkinson or Adkinson. There have been found many similar spellings. Someone thought one was her maiden name and one her previous married name. ??????????????????????? Any help or advice would be most welcome, redfox
