My maternal grandfather, descended from Lizzie(?) BOUNDS, who we believe may have been Choctaw, had as middle name "WOODARD" (note no second "W"). Is it at all possible that could be a family name handed down (by someone trying to remember their Choctaw heritage) and misspelled, or am I just grasping at straws? His full name was James WOODARD SMITH. Was WOODWARD ever spelled that way? So many questions... thanks - SandyM ----- Original Message, EXCERPTED: , From: "Richard Wilson" <imafo2002@yahoo.com> > Halito All: > Lori I have Halls in my line. ...
