    1. Re: [CHOCTAW-SE] Tompkins
    2. Bonnie, I don't know your Tompkins-Fulks family, but thought I would tell you that I spent today, along with other theater board members, tidying up the theater where the annual "Bob Wills Band Reunion" is being held this weekend. The surviving band members get together, and others sit in with them; and there is music and reminiscing all weekend! As a little child, I can remember my mother and grandmother listening to "We're the lightcrust doughboys from Burris Mills" at noon everyday from radio FWAA-WBAP, Dallas-Ft. Worth, which launched Bob Wills. In checking out some of my Choctaw "cousins" years ago, I learned that a group of Choctaws DID go to Leon Co., TX, rather than go to Oklahoma. Also, you might check out your possible Osage ancestry through the Osage Agency at Pawhuska, OK, as they have to keep track of the original allottees' descendants because of the division of the oil lease quarterly allotments. They might have something on your lines, even though you are not eligible. Send FACTS--names, dates, proof, etc. Good luck! pattyg74056@cs.com
