    3. Yes! you probably heard about the Attorney named Weir from MS who did this. He accepted money from Choctaws and other Indians for several years, but all his efforts led to nothing. He was sued for fraud. I went through his case file at the National Archives. There is really nothing in it that you can't get NOW from Internet. In the bibliography of my book "They Say the Wind is Red," I list all the Choctaw Court of Claims cases. A section on Resources for Southeastern Indian Genealogical Research is included.
