Zadoc Brashear's, his brother Samuel actually married a Creek woman, but their children resided mostly in the Choctaw nation. After the tribe moved, the Chickasaw and Choctaw shared a territory for awhile, and when they did seperate, members of each tribe could live in either territory, so you end up with some folks chickasaw on the Dawes, and other's choctaw. Charles Brashear is writing a book, soon to be published on these families. I don't have all the lines down yet as far as the Dawes goes, but I do have quite a bit of information on the family.
