    2. Hi John: Those in Alabama were mainly Trotter...Willoughby Trotter, Sam Trotter, Julia Trotter and her four siblings and finally Tobias Brock. Julia, my ggg grandmother, lived near Barrington, AL, until about 1840 when she moved to Mississippi. She married a Thompson in Clarke County, Mississippi. Lori

    3. Hey Lori, A female Willoughby married a Newton and Willoughby Newton was a surveyor I kept coming across in New England when searching my husband's Newton's in the early 1990's. If you have a Newton in your line, I may have something to share.
