    3. The George W. Reed that I have researched was born in 1815. He left Mississippi/Alabama area in late 1830s or early 1840s. He stayed in Texas for a while and came back with another wfe and family. Don't know whether this fits with yours in any way, but the Reed families were in both Creek and Choctaw nations. Hardy Reed was a trader in the Creek nation and Daniel Reed, father of George, was in Mississippi Territory before 1800.
