    3. First step, you must start with the Dawes roll. To get her CDIB she had to have the name of someone who was originally on the Dawes. The cards which name the parent's are online at http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/enroll/index.htm It is listed alphabetically. Once you Know the name of the parent's, try finding them and their family on the 1885 census. It is also online at http://www.choctaw_web.com from there it may be a little more difficult, you may need to see what is available. Also, the dawes application packet often will contain info.
