    3. How and when is the family number determined? Does it include all descendants under the same number? The only info I have found online concerning numbers, is explaining how to apply for one. I checked out the site to find a family number by typing in the surname. Where did this list originate? I have a niece who has her card, but she is not on this list. Fran Bolton
