    1. Re: [CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST] Web page of Dusty
    2. Marlene, I remember the web page you are mentioning. Dusty's site also had a transcript or link to a transcript of the 1885 census that was taken in the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. It was a great website, and I used to visit it about 6 years ago when I began my Choctaw family research. I have been unable to locate it in the past years as well. It is not the same website as the Access Genealogy site. Sorry I cannot be of help. It used to be an excellent source of information, but I can no longer find it. I was told to ask on this mail list. Any help? 3. The Website you are talking about was ran by Markie (sp) and Fay. As I recall Markie became ill and the site was removed by Rootsweb as it was on their freepages. They also had a part of the Armstrong Roll, which Fay made available to AccessGenealogy, which can be found here http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/armstrong.php If you are looking for Choctaw sites, check here http://www.accessgenealogy.com/native/tribes/choctaw/index.htm Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2006 1:57 PM Subject: Re: [CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST] Web page of Dusty > Marlene, > > I remember the web page you are mentioning. 1. Re: [CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST] Web page of Dusty OR Rusty

    3. The site that Carri mentions is the closest thing suggested to the site for which I am searching. It also had stories about different families. I am not sure if it was the 1855 or 1885 census by districts. I have both complete censuses so am not looking for that. It seems she had them by families within the district plus a lot of other information. On rethinking it, I bet I am wrong on the name and it was Rusty instead of Dusty. Someone told me Dusty so I just asked for that name, but after thinking more about it, I really believe it was Rusty as for ages I did not know the person was a female. I also remember the great site Markie and Fay had and I have spent many hours searching for it. I guess I can give up on that now. I do thank everyone for the suggestions, but none of them are what I was looking for. It was such a great web page I was really in hopes that I could find it again. I have my Indian lines on back (always looking for more), but a friend was wondering where she might find more information on "The Early Settlers" - like one can send for Final Roll Card packet. Does such a thing exist for The Early Settlers. Now that I have bothered everyone looking for "Dusty" does anyone remember "Rusty"?
