My gggrandmother's name was Samantha Albina Wirt (1870-1945) and my grandmother believes she was 1/2 Choctaw. She married Benjamin E. Smith (1860-1945) on May 13, 1888 in Newport, Arkansas and at some point moved to Washington state. I am seeking her parents names or any Wirt connect, and confirmation of her Native American heritage. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I seem to have hit a brick wall in my search.
