    3. Not everything you read in Chronicles of Oklahoma is correct! Forbis LeFlore, b. 1810, d. 1881 and is buried in Boggy Depot Cemetery, is my GGGGrandfather. He was married 3 times, not four. By his first wife, Sinai Hayes, the children all died in infancy. By his 2nd wife, Rebecca Fisher, the children were: Matilda Elizabeth, who married Dr. Thomas Jefferson Manning ( my GGGrandparents), Charles M. LeFlore who married Mary Angeline Guy, Catherine who died at age 12, Henrietta, who married John Donly, and Cordelia, died about 1 year of age. By his 3rd and last wife, Anne Marie Maurer, born in France, the children were: Arabella who married Charles Hill, Forbis, Jr., who married Phoebe Kays, Odile who married Thomas J. Ball, Lucy who married Dr. J.M. Bentley, and Carrie who married Adolphus Edward "Dynamite Ed" Perry. Anne Marie, Carrie, Ed, Lucy and Dr. Bentley as well as an unknown "J.B" LeFlore, infant, are buried in the cemetery at Rush Springs, Grady Co., OK. It lists four wives of Forbis and lists some children. Some of the Chronicles are on the net now. This one is one the net. Sue ==== CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST Mailing List ==== Got a PROBLEM?? Got a GRIPE??
