Imafo: Yokoke for sharing this information with us. These are things we need to know. Although most of us are tracing our family history, it is important to know what has happened to our ancestors and surviving relatives. To my knowledge, my Choctaw ancestors that I've identified thus far remained in Mississippi. However, that does not mean that some of their relatives and friends didn't relocate to Oklahoma and went through the horrors you speak of. I'm happy to know these things and have always felt that the right to vote and elect my choice is important. Yes, I've been a Democrat and will probably vote that way for the rest of my life. Now I want to know what can I do to help our Native American people, not just the Choctaw, but all Native Americans because they are suffering equally? Lori
