He was married to Mollie Self. Their children were George Emmett, John, Tom, Bob, Mollie, Sallie, and unknown female White. Sallie White may have been a foster child. George Emmett White was born at Webster, MS. Mollie Self White was born in MS and John S. White was born in Alabama. If there is a family connection please let me know. I have been searching for this family line for over a year and have found nothing. John S. White's second wife was named Nannie. I know that Nannie White lived in Vaugn,LA around 1908. George Emmett lived in Union County AR, Desha County AR, and Claiborne LA. I think that maybe all of the White brothers lived in Claiborne, LA at one time. George Emmett's daughter was May Belle White. His second daughter, Gertrude White, lived only one hour after birth. My mother always told me that Mollie Self White was part Indian.

I have a John White in my database that was married to a Nannie Taylor, but I do not have any children listed for them. I do not know if this could be the same family or not - It is a Cherokee Family: This was another marriage for Nannie and I have no children listed for this marriage either. Nannie was the daughter of Charles Fox TAYLOR and Lucy OTTERLIFTER. Nannie TAYLOR born about 1836 Cherokee Nation East, TN clan = Wolf Clan (Nanye'hi) Parents of Charles Fox TAYLOR were Charles Fox-TAYLOR and Jennie WALKER.
